Material Handler- 3rd shift

Material Handler – Lamination Grade 19 (3rd Shift) Reports to: Patrick Sexton – 3rd Shift Hourly pay range: $21.89-$27.92 (Shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shift). Work model: Onsite. Responsibilities Load coils on dereelers, ensuring correct size C hook and centering the hoist over the coil. Use safety chain when loading coils. Remove and cut first wrap off of the coils and place magnet back on the coils. Ensure coils are loaded on both sides of the dereeler at every press and at end of shift. Palletize material off of the conveyors. Operate an electric pallet truck to move completed pallets/boxes of lamination to the staging area. Operate a hoist to hang coils and palletize material that weighs 50 lbs. or over. Operate pneumatic shears, pneumatic stapler and hydraulic lift tables as needed. Make up boxes to keep production going and leave adequate amount for next shift. Ensure all lines are cleared at the end of the shift. Operate the Pick and Place machines when needed. Perform daily clean up at end of the shift. Essential Functions – Material Handler Understand and follow all ABB safety policies, safety training and hazard communication information, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, cut resistant gloves, and safety sleeves when required. Lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Grip with hands, turn, push, bend, occasionally reach above shoulder level, and pull. Walk and/or stand for long periods of time and keep up with the demanding pace of production. Use hand tools, power tools and equipment such as electric chain hoists, pneumatic shears, pneumatic stapler, hydraulic lift tables, electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks and controls with knobs and buttons. Read, write, use a calculator; read and comprehend work orders, blueprints, and inventory tags. Maintain regular work attendance, arriving on time and staying until the end of the scheduled workday. Work daily and weekend overtime, including overtime on short notice.
