As a Material Handler, you will support the development of cutting-edge products from concept through production by ensuring materials and components are accurately received, organized, and delivered to the production floor. What You’ll Do

• Retrieve products from designated storage locations within the warehouse
• Accurately read work order or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, packaged, and shipped
• Accurately identifying items based on order specifications and ensuring the correct quantity is selected
• Pack all materials into appropriate containers based on specific packing requirements
• Ensure materials are packed effectively to avoid damage during transit
• Coordinate the shipment process by preparing shipping labels, verifying addresses, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete
• Collaborate with shipping carriers to facilitate the timely dispatch of packages
• Conduct visual inspections of products during the picking and packing stages to identify any defects or discrepancies
• Utilize inventory management systems to update stock levels and communicate any shortages or overages, as needed
• Work effectively as a team to achieve daily shipping goals
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and project milestones

Key Strengths & Skills

• Ability to conduct repetitive movements of lightweight parts (up to 10 pounds/part)
• Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Able to interact with others in a respectful and collaborative manner
• Adequately read and follow written instructions from an operation manual

Location

This is a full-time position , on-site at our Hazlewood, MO location. The expected schedule is 36hours per week , Monday through Wednesday, but an occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate project schedules.
