Senior Manager, Identity Security Operations

Summary

Leads the enterprise Identity Security Operations function, overseeing the reliability, security, and service delivery of identity platforms. Sets the operating model and multi-year roadmap while advancing automation, operational maturity, and risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Own identity operations strategy, staffing, budget, roadmap, service health, SLAs, KPIs, and executive reporting.
• Lead managers and senior contributors; build leadership capacity, succession, and strong teams.
• Direct incident command, problem management, change governance, access lifecycle operations, and privileged access operations.
• Drive automation and toil reduction, and establish transition-to-operations standards with Identity Engineering.
• Manage platform vendors and service relationships, and serve as the accountable operations lead for audits and compliance engagements.

Requirements

• 10+ years in identity and access management, information security, or IT operations, including 7+ years leading teams and 5+ years leading leaders or owning a function.
• Experience operating enterprise identity platforms, including an enterprise identity provider, directory services, identity governance, and privileged access management.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, Conditional Access, and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience with enterprise ITIL-aligned operations, incident and change management, budgets, team planning, vendor relationships, audits, and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
