Required Skills:

• Proven experience in hematology and oncology nursing, including blood draws, IV placements, port access, and line dressings
• Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central line management
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy administration, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and oncologic emergencies
• Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in computerized charting systems, specifically EPIC
• BLS certification required

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with PICC line management and line dressing changes
• Knowledge of infection prevention protocols and patient safety measures
• Experience with immunizations and injections
• Oncology-specific certifications or additional training

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state
• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not mandatory; training provided
• Previous experience in outpatient clinic settings is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Flexibility to work day shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, including variable weekends based on unit needs
• Ability to self-schedule shifts and adapt to dynamic scheduling
• Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and quality care
• Willingness to participate in orientation and ongoing education
