The role uses reporting and data tools to bring information together from different sources, create accurate KPIs, and provide reports that help leaders and operations teams make decisions. This position works with Information Systems and other teams to understand reporting needs, connect data to business processes, and create solutions that can grow with the business. Responsibilities may change as business needs evolve.What You'll Do:Business Intelligence & ReportingDesign, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that present clear, meaningful KPI representations of business dataTake data from multiple sources and bring it together into cohesive, well-structured reports and visualizationsApply consistent branding, layout, and formatting standards so reports are accurate, polished, and easy to consumeData Modeling & IntegrationWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data used in reports and semantic modelsBuild and consume semantic models and views within Microsoft Fabric, applying row-level security so users see only the data they are authorized to viewEnsure data accuracy and integrity by testing, reconciling, and troubleshooting reporting logic against source systemsData Analysis & KPI DesignPerform data analysis to identify the right metrics and relate the data back to the business processes being measuredPartner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate reporting needs into meaningful, actionable KPIsPresent data clearly to audiences at all levels of the company, including executive leadershipCollaboration & DocumentationDocument report specifications, data definitions, and standard operating procedures for the reporting environmentCommunicate report status, progress, and data issues clearly to stakeholders and IT leadershipMaintain a library of reports, data sources, and reusable components to support consistency and knowledge sharingDelivery, Source Control & ProjectsMove reports through development, test, and production environments using established pipelines and promotion practicesUse established source-control practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub, to support version control of report and model artifactsLead assigned reporting workstreams or small projects appropriate to the position level and support the broader BI roadmapWhat We're Looking For:Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience.Relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or related work, including hands-on experience developing Power BI reports, writing SQL, and performing data analysis.Experience translating business requirements into reporting, analytics, or data solutionsKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesWorking knowledge of Power BI, SQL, data modeling, data visualization, and combining data from multiple sources into meaningful KPIsStrong analytical, communication, documentation, organization, and teamwork skills, including the ability to work with all levels of the companyAbility to protect confidential information, manage changing priorities, and present data clearly and credibly to executive audiencesAbility to work independently, manage assigned priorities, and translate technical data into clear insights for nontechnical audiencesCertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate (DP-500)SQL-related certification (e.g., Azure Database Administrator)Why Join Odom?Competitive compensation and benefits packageCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impactMulti-state and multi-location business experienceJob Details$85,000 - $110,000 annually (depending on experience)Incredible work/life balance.Great work cultureUp to 128 hours Paid Time Off to start9 Paid Holidays AnnuallyMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits401(k) with Employer matchWork EnvironmentWork is primarily performed in a professional office environment.Hybrid work may be available based on business needs.The work environment is generally moderate in noise level.Physical DemandsReasonable accommodations will be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment.Frequently required to communicate verbally and in writing.Occasionally required to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.Must be able to review and analyze information on computer screens and printed materials.About The Odom CorporationThe Odom Corporation is one of the largest and most respected beverage distributors in the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii.
