Your Key Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient exams, ordering necessary tests, and crafting individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or working independently as credentialing allows
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention strategies, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic approaches as permitted by your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, holistic patient care
• Maintaining thorough and precise documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
