Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Portland, Oregon. This position involves providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced, short-term acute care facility. The RN will float between units as needed, with a focus on adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations, adhering to clinical protocols and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Job Details:

• Position: Emergency Room RN
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts) from 08/31/2026
• Schedule: Shift Time: Nights; Shift Hours: 12; Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of ER nursing experience, ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications, proficiency in Epic charting system, Oregon RN license or pending license, no specific location requirement, required certifications, 1-year patient ratio experience, and experience with trauma and emergency procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, trauma level experience, and experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center.
• Additional Information: Candidates will float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. The position requires a vehicle for commuting. Candidates must be flexible to work every other weekend and a minimum of 3 of the 5 major holidays. All scheduling and RTO requests should be submitted upfront during application. References covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) are required. The role involves handling all ages, diagnoses, emergencies, and specialized procedures including triage and trauma management.
