Take ownership & responsibility of our team, your projects, & your investment at HBK.
- Lead, train, & develop your entire team. Develop key leaders below you, looking for consistent ways to encourage & coach. This position works directly with 4 to 5 key direct reports on the following teams - Bread, Pastry, Prep/Dish, & Line.
- Take on operational, administrative manager roles - be responsible for key tasks & projects that affect both the guest & team experience. Key task examples: purchasing, hiring, training, inventory, scheduling, etc. Oversee food cost spending & goals, kitchen supplies & smallwares.
- Collaborate with creative leads to keep Harvey’s offerings fresh, relevant, and evolving, organizing our regularly updating specials & new menus.
- Lead the growth of our catering program by building clear communication systems and refining processes for consistent execution.
- Lead your teams to create consistent, memorable, defect free products in a timely manner. When issues arise, tackle them with positive assumptions & a generous disposition.
- Lead a weekly meeting with BOH Team Leads. Take your role as head communicator seriously.
- Work shoulder to shoulder with your leaders & your team. Weekly schedule or create regular rotation of working during key times with each team. Create this schedule with the General Manager.
- Report directly to Harvey General Manager. Meet weekly for 1ON1 - coming prepared with updates, conversation topics, & growth areas.
- Work 5 days a week - ~45 hours a week job commitment.
Work two Saturdays per month, taking off Friday or Monday - up to position discretion.
