Registered Nurse Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac Stepdown NurseProvide specialized nursing care to cardiac and vascular patients in a dedicated stepdown and floor unit. Ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective assessment, intervention, and collaboration with the healthcare team.Responsibilities:Administer bedside care and monitor post-op cardiac and vascular patients, including those with complex surgeries and procedures.Titrate and manage set-rate drips such as Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and TPA in accordance with physician orders.Collaborate with Charge Nurses and House Supervisors to coordinate patient care and unit activities.Document patient status, treatments, and interventions accurately in electronic medical records.Interpret cardiac strips with the assistance of Cardiac Monitor Technicians to identify arrhythmias or ischemic changes.Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment adhering to hospital policies and protocols.Qualifications:Valid RN license with cardiac/vascular experience required.Current BLS and ACLS certifications.Proven ability to read and interpret cardiac strips and manage titratable drips.Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant post-surgical cardiac and vascular nursing experience.Demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills.Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays.Benefits & Growth:Access to specialized cardiac and vascular training to enhance clinical expertise.Opportunity to work in a reputable, patient-focused environment with supportive team members.Benefits:Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceTravel reimbursement for assignmentsPaid sick leave and additional valuable benefitsAccess to our $1,000 Inspire a Friend Referral ProgramChoosing TactStaff means partnering with a team that understands the unique demands and rewards of Cardiac Stepdown.
