Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a seasoned Pharmacist to take on a leadership role within a community pharmacy setting, providing both operational guidance and direct patient care. In this direct hire position based in Bennett, CO, you will work closely with a dynamic pharmacy team dedicated to prescription accuracy, superior patient service, and regulatory compliance.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) and resolve any prescription discrepancies.
• Provide supervision and guidance to pharmacy support staff including Pharmacy Technicians and Representatives.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and storage.
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and prescribers.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including assisting with FDA and manufacturer requirements.
• Assist with medication procurement, shipping, and delivery processes.
• Utilize pharmacy technology including robotics and automation to support efficient workflow.
• Serve as backup Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) as needed and meet any additional state licensure requirements.
• Maintain high productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations or insurance/healthcare environment is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of standard pharmacy dispensing practices and procedures.
