Traveling Commercial Carpenter

Job Description

Job Description

Love building? Love being on the road? Why not do both?

If the idea of working on the same job site every day doesn't excite you, you're in the right place.

At Singleton Construction, our projects take us across the central and southern United States, delivering commercial construction projects for some of America's most recognised brands.

That means you'll have the opportunity to work in different locations, meet new people, build your skills and be part of projects that make a real impact.

We're looking for Commercial Carpenters who take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working as part of a great team and are excited by a role that offers variety, travel and the chance to build a career, not just another job.

No two projects are the same, and that's exactly how we like it.

Working at Singleton means you'll be part of a close-knit team delivering projects across multiple states. One month you might be helping transform a major retail store, the next you'll be on a completely different project with a new team and new challenges.

If you enjoy travel, this role gives you the chance to see different parts of the country while doing what you love.

We know being away from home is a commitment, so we make sure you're well looked after. We organise your travel, provide quality accommodation and support you throughout every project, so you can focus on delivering great work and enjoying the experience.

Along the way you'll work with experienced Superintendents and Project Managers, learn from talented tradespeople and continue developing your skills on a wide variety of commercial projects.

If you're looking for more than just another construction job, Singleton is a place where you can build a career, make great friends and enjoy the journey along the way.

As a Commercial Carpenter, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality commercial construction projects from start to finish.

Working alongside Superintendents, Project Managers and other skilled tradespeople, you'll help bring projects to life while maintaining the high standards our clients expect from Singleton.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing all aspects of commercial carpentry, including framing, finish carpentry, fixture installation and punch work.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Installing doors, frames, hardware, millwork and other finish components.
• Working safely and efficiently to keep projects on schedule.
• Identifying and resolving issues while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Working closely with other trades and project teams to deliver successful projects.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Representing Singleton professionally on every project.

Projects vary in both location and duration, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling.

You're someone the team can count on.

You show up ready to work, take pride in every detail and consistently deliver quality craftsmanship. You work well with others, help solve problems on site and leave every project knowing you've done your best work.

Clients trust the quality of our finished projects because of people like you.
