Patient Service Specialist - Call Center Job Tracking ID :512527-914718 Job Level :Entry Level (less than 2 years) Patient Service Specialist - Call Center Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. is looking for atalented Patient Service Specialist to step into our fast-paced call center! Summary : The Patient Service Specialist performs awide variety of call center duties while providing excellent customerservice to patients and staff. Hours: This is a full-time position that requires theability to work a flexible schedule in the call center. Generaldaytime hours Monday – Friday with at least one late night per week. Position Responsibilities/Duties: Patient check-in and check-out: greet visitors and take deliveries Patient registration – complete appropriate forms and enterpatient information in to system completely and accurately Answer high-volume calls in timely manner and direct toappropriate staff Review and update FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) documents Update Medicaid referral forms Medical records – collect and secure all medical records daily Medical billing – ensure all billing codes are entered correctlyand accurately Promote patient satisfaction and provide excellent customer service Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed Experience and Skills: Position Requirements: At least 1 year of related work experience; 2 to 4 years preferred Familiarity with medical terminology Strong computer skills: experience with EPIC, Navinet, NJMMIS, andEHS preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills High school diploma or equivalent: Certificate or diploma from amedical training course preferred Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
