About the Job You're Considering

The Business Analyst (BA) serves as a lead conduit between client business stakeholders and Capgemini solution teams, with a mandatory focus on Pharma/Life Sciences domains. The role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating business, system, and data requirements within specialty pharma and life sciences environments.

Your Role

• Elicit business, system, and data requirements from pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations
• Define, analyze, and prioritize requirements and interface agreements
• Write detailed functional and system specifications, business rules, and processes
• Lead common standards and tools for documenting requirements and data specifications
• Perform gap analysis for requirements, data models, and interfaces
• Assist in rollout, adoption, and post-implementation support
• Provide consulting services in the pharma/life sciences domain
• Map business requirements to detailed data specifications \
• Partner with QA teams to validate test cases and data accuracy

Required Skills

• Mandatory experience in Pharma/Life Sciences
• Experience writing data rules, formats, and KPI specifications
• Experience with third-party vendors and data exchange interfaces
• Expertise mapping data requirements to business requirements and test cases
• 5-7+ years of business/systems analysis experience
• Understanding of compliance and validation in pharma organizations
• IIBA certification (CBAP, CCBA) preferred
• Proven delivery success using standard tools and best practices

Platform / Technical Skills

• EDI fundamentals and file-based data exchange
• XML, fixed-length, and CSV formats
• Healthcare standards: ICD-10, CPT, RxNorm, HCPCS
• Six Sigma certification or process improvement experience
• CSM or Agile delivery experience

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$54,380 to $99,650.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
