Business Development & Communications Coordinator

Business Development & Communications Coordinator – New York Field Operations is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Business Development and Communications Coordinator with strong graphic, media, and communication skills to join our collaborative studio full-time in our New York office. We are a creative, ideas-driven landscape architecture and urban design practice with a high-energy and collaborative studio environment. The BD & Communications Coordinator will work closely with our Leadership Team and BD & Communications Associate to enhance the studio's visibility and help secure new work. The position’s primary responsibility is to support Field Operations communications and business development efforts with a keen graphic sensibility, content curation and assembly, and customized written narratives. The role requires a responsible, self-driven individual comfortable managing multiple deadlines with proactive communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong graphic and writing skills, have a basic knowledge of design industry procurement processes, and be familiar with landscape architecture, urban design, or architecture. All responsibilities are carried out in close collaboration with our Leadership Team and BD & Communications Associate. Responsibilities Communications: Creating brochures, portfolios, and external presentations. Also responsible for assisting with award submissions, website and social media, press inquiries, and updating and coordinating project information, data, and marketing assets. Business Development: Producing Go/No Go summaries and recommendations, reviewing and monitoring new inquiries and external bid portals for relevant project opportunities, and supporting qualifications packages and project proposals. Special Projects & Initiatives: Coordinating exhibitions, lectures and talks, essays, books, and events. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in a business development, marketing, or communications-related position Bachelor’s degree or above (degree in landscape architecture, urban design, architecture, graphic design, planning, marketing, communications, or equivalent is strongly recommended) Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines Strong graphic skills Excellent English language written and communication skills; additional languages are a plus Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work fluidly across different working styles and perspectives, both within the studio and with outside collaborators Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, and Photoshop (video creation and editing a plus).
