Room Attendant

Position Summary The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable rooms to achieve 100% guest satisfaction. The role requires delivering genuine hospitality and upholding the Radisson experience through efficient housekeeping and responsive guest service. Key Responsibilities Clean assigned guest rooms or suites, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, arranging furniture, and cleaning bathrooms. Maintain comprehensive cleaning protocols throughout the property. Empty trash containers and replace liners. Restock replenishable items such as soap, towels, amenities, and paper items. Remove trays, glass, and silverware and dispose of them appropriately. Clean and vacuum exterior entryways and hallways. Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized. Ensure guest laundry and dry‑cleaning orders are handled promptly. Notify supervisors immediately of any special room issues or maintenance needs. Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and refer to a supervisor if unable to resolve. Secure all rooms or suites before leaving. Deliver personal attention and teamwork to provide exceptional guest service and resolve issues with empathy and accountability. Maintain a positive “Yes I Can!” attitude, demonstrating teamwork and genuine hospitality at all times. Perform any additional duties required by management to achieve 100% guest satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of one year of hospitality experience in housekeeping. Follows instructions and communicates clearly and effectively. Works well independently or as part of a team. Exhibits strong attention to detail. Shows commitment to exceptional guest service. Capable of cleaning multiple room types and meeting daily cleaning quotas. Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Adheres to hotel policies and procedures. Physical Demands Perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Lift up to 50 pounds. Pull or push up to 100 pounds. Squat, bend, kneel, and twist as required. Stand for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Other Information The hotel operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All associates must be prepared to adjust shifts and duties as business needs require.
