Speech Language Pathologist – School (25-26 School Year) Salary: $40 - $60 per hour About the Role We are seeking a Consulting Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population within a school setting. The role involves comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering direct therapy, collaborating with staff, tracking progress, providing education to parents and staff, and staying current with best practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language skills, identifying areas of improvement. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals. Provide direct speech and language therapy services using evidence‑based techniques and strategies. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and at home. Track and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Provide education and training to school staff and parents on how to support students' speech and language development. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and plan for future needs. Stay updated with the latest research and developments in speech‑language pathology to ensure best practices. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or a related field. A valid Colorado State SLP license. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting. Excellent knowledge of speech disorders and language impairments, and effective treatment strategies. Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and school staff. Strong commitment to improving students' speech and language skills. Ability to work independently, manage a caseload effectively, and meet deadlines. Proficiency in using computer software and technology for documentation and communication.
