Job Description

• Lead all on-site construction operations from project start through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and daily site activities.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, architects, and engineering teams.
• Conduct site meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor quality control and enforce company standards.
• Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
• Oversee inspections and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout project execution.
• Travel extensively to project locations across the United States.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Experience overseeing ground-up construction projects independently.
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, aviation, automotive, or similar commercial projects preferred.
• Ability to manage projects with lean field teams and multiple subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Stable work history with demonstrated tenure and career progression.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for project assignments.

• Base salary: $124,600 - $176,300.
