Hotel - Banquet Set - UP

Hotel: Southfield Westin, 1500 Town Center Southfield, MI 48075, Part‑time. Compensation Range: $17.65 – $18.65 hourly. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and location. Job Description What You Will Do: Set up and break down meeting and banquet rooms according to event orders and maintain high cleanliness standards. Keep event spaces refreshed and guest‑ready throughout the day, including during coffee breaks. Transport supplies and materials to their destinations (boxes, programs, décor). Support food and beverage service by bussing and resetting tables as needed. Act as a friendly point of contact for guests, anticipating needs and resolving small issues with a positive attitude. What We Are Looking For: Strength and stamina: lift and move up to 50 lb; spend most of the shift on your feet. Attention to detail: "almost right" is not acceptable for event perfection. Clear communication: follow instructions and work well with team members, including kitchen staff. Flexible schedule: willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
