QA Automation Engineer (Tosca)Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid | Birmingham AL We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong Tosca automation experience to join a growing enterprise technology team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an expected conversion timeline of approximately six months.In this role, you will support enterprise-wide quality assurance initiatives, automation testing efforts, and test strategy development while helping drive the organization's automation maturity.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute automated test solutions using ToscaCreate and maintain automated test scripts for enterprise applicationsDevelop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategiesCollaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure software qualitySupport functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing effortsIdentify, document, and track software defectsParticipate in automation framework enhancements and continuous improvement initiativesContribute to overall QA best practices and testing standardsRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Tosca AutomationExperience with SeleniumJava development experienceBackground in both manual QA testing and automation testingAbility to clearly articulate automation design, testing methodologies, and QA best practicesStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsTosca Certifications (AS1, AS2, and/or DI)Experience working in large enterprise environmentsBachelor's degree (required for permanent conversion)Local candidates preferredRelocation candidates will be considered if able to relocate within 4–6 weeksInitial onsite presence is important to support knowledge transfer and trainingWhat We're Looking ForWell-spoken and professionalDirect and concise communicatorsStrong technically with the ability to explain their experience clearlyHands-on automation engineers who can demonstrate deep Tosca expertiseIf you have a passion for test automation and are looking for an opportunity to make an impact within a highly visible enterprise environment, we'd love to connect.Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
