Screen Printing Press Assistant

Kahne Screen Print is seeking a motivated and dependable Screen Printing Press Assistant to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to learn the screen printing industry from the ground up.

As a Press Assistant, you will work directly alongside our press operators to ensure jobs are set up efficiently, production runs smoothly, and quality standards are maintained throughout the printing process.

Position Details

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: On-Site

Responsibilities

• Assist press operators with setting up and tearing down print jobs
• Register screens and prepare presses for production runs
• Clean inks, screens, squeegees, and related equipment
• Load and unload garments during production
• Ensure print stations remain organized and production-ready
• Assist in maintaining quality standards throughout production
• Organize work areas and keep production spaces clean and efficient
• Support operators during high-volume production runs
• Follow production schedules and priorities as assigned
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily output goals
• Perform general shop duties as needed

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Previous screen printing experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
