- # Shipping/ Packaging SpecialistApplyremote type: Onsitelocations: Brazil, Indianatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 6 Days Agojob requisition id: JR101938The **Shipping/ Packaging Specialist** is Technifab's last line of defense before items are shipped to the customer.Qualified applicants must be very meticulous and detail oriented to assure the customer is getting a product that meets or exceeds their expectations.**Qualifications:*** Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings, bill of materials, cutlists, inspection procedures, manufacturing manual procedures, etc.* Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.* Experience using saws and other power tools a plus* Carpentry skills a plus**Responsibilities Include:*** Performing visual and dimensional inspections* Applying the correct decals as required per drawing and inspection procedure* Etching or engraving identification of items as required* The use of inspection tools: (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.)* Verifying process travelers and job packets, all items completed and signed off* Ensuring product is packaged appropriately for protection* Following Technifab safety guidelines* Taking pictures of finished products in their shipping containers* Performing all other duties as directed by supervisor**About Crane**Crane Co. is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products.
