Backend Software Engineer

BackEnd Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior)The Boeing Company is currently seeking BackEnd Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to lead our Model-Based Engineering (MBE) software team located in Berkeley, Missouri. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Services (BDS) business organization.This role focuses on building prototypes and new capabilities for web applications and services. You will design APIs, develop data-processing and analytics pipelines, optimize SQL queries, and help establish production-ready infrastructure. As a backend developer, you'll play a key role in shaping the architecture needed to take prototypes and minimum viable products into production.Responsibilities may include researching and selecting technologies and programming languages, building reliable and high-performance server applications, and helping ensure our systems can scale to support hundreds or even thousands of users.
