In addition to having strong clinical skills, Hospice Nurses are teachers, helping patients identify their own personal goals of care and helping caregivers have confidence in caring for their family members.
They are generalists on all diseases and specialists in symptom management, requiring excellence in assessment and critical thinking.
Primary Nurses have an assigned caseload of patients and lead the interdisciplinary team caring for those patients.
We provide care wherever our patients call home, including private homes, nursing homes, group homes, or assisted living facilities.
Hospice nurses thrive in an environment that fosters personalized care.
The Primary Registered Nurse has a weekday schedule, with occasional backup for weekends and on-call.
