Diagnostic Radiologist

Position Overview

A healthcare organization in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist to join a well-established and collaborative radiology team. The group includes general radiologists, interventional radiologists, and dedicated breast imagers, offering a comprehensive and supportive clinical environment. This is primarily an onsite role, ideal for candidates who value hands-on collaboration and access to full imaging resources.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities
Perform general radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and image-guided interventions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of radiologists and referring providers
Contribute to high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery

Clinical Scope

Modalities:

CT
MRI
Ultrasound
Nuclear Medicine
General Diagnostic Radiology

Procedures Include:

Fluoroscopy
Myelogram
Thyroid biopsy
Lumbar puncture

Note: This role does not include breast imaging responsibilities.

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time position
Monday through Friday, daytime hours
No travel between sites
Shared call rotation, including weekdays and weekends (approximately 1:4)
Primarily onsite role with strong team collaboration

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school (or equivalent)
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology (American Board or Canadian Board)
Strong proficiency in cross-sectional imaging
Ability to perform a broad range of general radiology procedures
Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and required credentials
Commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills
