Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Day Shift RN shifts available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• Various nursing certifications as listed (CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, NIHSS, STABLE, ASLS, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, C-EFM).
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.
• Ability to triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately.
• Communicates effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient status and diagnostic studies.
• Conducts head-to-toe assessments and utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
• Maintains accurate and continued nursing documentation and patient care protocols.
• Acts as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
