Position Summary Our Deloitte Regulatory, Risk & Forensic team helps client leaders translate multifaceted risk and an evolving regulatory environment into defensible actions that strengthen, protect, and transform their organization. Work you’ll do As a Senior Consultant in our AI & Data Risk team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative data-driven solutions for clients across financial services, fintech, and technology industry sectors. You will: Serve as a key contributor on multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating closely with managers and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality data and analytics engagementsGuide and mentor junior team members, providing direction on project tasks and supporting skill developmentAssist in the design, implementation, and optimization of data management solutions — this includes data architecture, platforms, governance, quality, and security initiativesApply your knowledge of Financial Services industry systems and technologies to build robust, scalable solutionsSupport the integration of next-generation technologies such as cloud platforms, machine learning, and Generative AI (GenAI) within client solutions and project deliverablesConduct technical analysis, develop data pipelines, and contribute to technical reviews for solutions built by the teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams—both internal and external—to execute project tasks and fulfill engagement objectivesDevelop and utilize analytics and visualization tools to transform complex data into meaningful insights for clientsPrepare project documentation, status updates, and client-ready deliverables highlighting progress, technical findings, and recommendationsPresent findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner The successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team• Effective written and verbal communication skills• Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product• Ability to build and sustain professional relationships • Ability to lead projects or workstreams• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor • Ability to meet deadlines• Ability to provide clear guidance to others The team Our Regulatory & Financial Risk offering supports clients' business priorities, balancing risk and regulatory requirements with enhancing business value and optimizing outcomes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field4+ years’ experience in data architecture, data management, or data engineering2+ years of experience in the financial services or fintech industryDemonstrated proficiency in relevant tools and platforms, including:Programming/Scripting: Python, SQL, R, Java, Scala, etc.Big Data Tools: Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark/Kafka, etc.Data Management: Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Alteryx, etc.Predictive Analytics: Python, IBM SPSS, SAS, RPL, etc.Data Visualization: Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.Data Mining/Data Warehousing: Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, etc.Experience and familiarity with:Banking regulatory reporting tools (e.g., Axiom)Data integration and migration projects in financial servicesData governance best practices, especially in regulatory contextsStrong analytical skills and experience with managing and manipulating large datasetsExcellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to solve complex problems in fast-paced environmentsAbility to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or business-related fieldRelated certifications such as PMP, AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Certification, or CDMP3+ years of experience in the financial services or technology industry Deloitte is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.
