Metal Fabricator and MIG Welder Location: Southfield, Michigan. First shift Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 6 am to noon. Responsibilities Read and comprehend blueprints. Perform skilled repair of metal surfaces to ensure safe and efficient use of material. Maintain shop equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order. Apply continuous MIG welding and fabrication skills. Work overtime as needed and as required by production. Use basic tools. Train on hydraulics and air systems; prior knowledge of trailer air systems and hydraulics is a plus. Hiring Requirements Must have basic tools. Welding test required. Compensation and Hours Hourly rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour. Hours per week: 50–56. Signing bonus: $1,000 after six months. Benefits Health insurance (health, dental, vision). Life insurance.
