Emergency Services Medical Director - Lawrence, MA; Hybrid Boston 30m### The OpportunitySeeking a Psychiatrist to serve as Emergency Services Medical Director , providing clinical and medical oversight across all programming, including Behavioral Health Crisis Consultation and Consultation-Liaison (CL) services for served hospitals. This role co-leads the Emergency Services Division alongside the VP of Emergency Services. Pay Range $370,000.00 USD - $400,000.00 Division Scope:

- Jail Diversion Programs ### Essential Functions & Responsibilities Operations & Leadership \n
- Oversee all clinical and medical operations of the Emergency Services Division \n
- Plan, build, and implement a CL service structure Clinical Care & On-Call \n
- Provide scheduled and as-needed CL services \n
- Offer on-call phone coverage for medical consultation to staff and system hospitals Staff Supervision \n
- Direct and supervise division medical staff, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and psychiatric nurse clinical specialists in the CL and On-Call groups\n
- Manage onboarding, training, and credentialing maintenance across all served hospitals Stakeholder Engagement \n
- Attend daily hospital/system huddles, regular stakeholder meetings, quarterly division meetings, and monthly program meetings Case Escalation & Safety \n
- Review clinical escalations to address admission/diversion barriers \n
- Ensure escalation protocol compliance and conduct inpatient psychiatric reviews Quality & Compliance \n
- Drive quality improvement, patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and regulatory standards including Joint Commission\n
- Provide medical leadership on policies Academic Enrichment \n
- Deliver live, virtual, or recorded training on relevant clinical topics and competencies ### Qualifications\n
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school \n
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency \n
- Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry / Psychosomatic Medicine \n
- Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry \n
- Minimum 5 years of C-L Psychiatry experience in a hospital setting \n
- Minimum 2 years of formal leadership experience \n
- Strong background in medically complex psychiatric care within academic medical centers or \n
