Join the Camp StarPower team as a General Counselor and make an impact this summer! Camp StarPower: July 6 – 17, 2026. M-F, 8:30 – 4:30. Orientation June 3 – 5, 2026. This is a temporary role. Pay is commensurate with experience. The Jewish Community Center of Dallas is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). Responsibilities Assist with and implement core and non-core camp activities in various group settings. Lead large and small group recreational activities as needed. Support Specialty Theater Staff with hands‑on tasks, embodying a collaborative, can‑do attitude. Ensure the safety, well‑being, and happiness of assigned campers. Address and manage camper behavior promptly and appropriately. Serve as a positive role model, fostering enthusiasm, teamwork, fairness, and fun. Qualifications Must be 18 years or older. Experience or strong passion for performing arts (theater, dance, voice, etc.). Previous experience working with children or a genuine desire to engage with kids. Enthusiastic, dependable, caring, and team‑oriented personality. This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire young performers while creating memorable summer experiences.
