Abbott seeks a Senior Statistician to design studies and develop statistical analyses for diagnostic products in the Core Lab Division. The role involves leading statistical projects across cross-functional teams and supporting regulatory submissions.
Responsibilities
- Design studies and develop statistical plans for diagnostic products across cancer biomarkers and cardiac markers
- Perform data analysis and validate software using statistical programming tools
- Lead statistical projects independently and manage timelines
- Participate in data reviews and regulatory submissions for diagnostic products
- Present statistical concepts and study findings to cross-functional teams and management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics or related field
- Master's degree with 2+ years relevant experience, or Doctorate with 1+ year experience, or 4+ years experience overall
- Proficiency in R, SAS, or other statistical software
- Strong statistical theory and methodology knowledge
- Experience with data analysis and software validation
- Preferred: at least 1 year of R programming experience
Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
