Compliance Coordinator

Overview

A leading global professional services organization is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support firmwide compliance operations and administrative initiatives. This role works closely with compliance leadership to help maintain internal policies, manage reporting schedules, coordinate compliance-related activities, and support regulatory and administrative processes.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment while maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional internal client service.

This position is based in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules and tracking systems for firm policies, compliance requirements, deadlines, and related updates.
• Assist with gathering and organizing documentation for insurance renewals and compliance-related reporting.
• Track internal and client-related reporting deadlines and maintain shared compliance calendars.
• Support compliance reporting initiatives by maintaining tracking documents, training participation records, and survey data.
• Assist with preparing and filing compliance and regulatory documentation as needed.
• Provide administrative support related to internal governance and committee activities.
• Process invoices, reimbursement requests, and other administrative tasks related to compliance operations.
• Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and videoconferences, including scheduling, calendar management, conference room reservations, and audiovisual support.
• Maintain organized records and documentation to support compliance operations and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to support firmwide compliance initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

• Two-year college degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business software applications.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems, software platforms, and filing applications.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and client-service-oriented approach.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is approximately $50,000-$63,000 annually. Compensation will vary based on experience, education, qualifications, and geographic location.
