Performance Improvement Manager (Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1)

Position Title Performance Improvement Manager (Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1) – #260003RR Agency & Contact Ohio Department of Medicaid, Human Resources: View email address on click.appcast.io Job Details Location: Lazarus 5, 50 West Town Street, Columbus, 43215, Ohio. Schedule: Full‑time (overtime exempt). Compensation: $39.22 per hour. Responsibilities Manage the development, implementation, and reporting of quality improvement projects (QIPs) for targeted Medicaid populations, including Children with Chronic Conditions. Direct the design of Children with Chronic Conditions QIPs to improve disparate outcomes and care transitions. Coordinate identification of applicable quality measures and analysis of health services data to support QIP design and evaluation. Develop methodology and timelines for monitoring and evaluating QIPs, including outcome measurement and population health impact. Review applicable rules, policies, laws, and guidelines to ensure compliance with CMS and state regulations. Manage and direct contracted consultant staff and services for quality improvement initiatives. Formulate policy and recommend legislative changes related to Children with Chronic Conditions QIPs. Qualifications Graduate core program in business, public administration, health administration, or related field. Minimum 12 months experience delivering health services programs or project management (e.g., data analysis, contract management, budgeting). Equivalent experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Specialist (65293) or minimum class qualifications for employment noted above. Strong knowledge of health administration, data analysis, and quality improvement practices.
