Mechanical BIM Coordinator

As part of HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, you’ll help design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. In the role of BIM Digital Design Coordinator , you'll work for the Mechanical discipline under the direct supervision of an Engineer or other technical professional. Responsibilities Assist in the development of the Mechanical Revit model under direction from Digital Design, Architectural, or Engineering staff. Assist with the creation of the Mechanical Revit model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output for the Mechanical discipline. Accurately model BIM elements in the correct constraints of the modeling environment, using Revit. Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams of the design using the current 3D software. Maintain the Mechanical Revit model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheets. Produce Mechanical specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output. Required Qualifications Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure. Competency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential. Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
