Associate Project Manager - Bay Area/ San Jose, CA

What you will do Contribute to the development of the project charter and/or develop sub-project charter and management plan. Recommend tradeoffs within project. Assist in defining and managing project scope; review with manager for approval. Outline major workstreams. Complete assigned tasks according to established timeline. Assist in the development of a detailed project Gantt chart. Manage a sub-project timeline. Collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish sub-project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget. Partner with sub-project teams to establish project Quality Plans. Monitor and maintain plans. Create a risk register and management plan for the sub-project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop sub-project risk response plan. Participate in the development of a Procurement Management Plan. Develop a sub-project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements. Define the role, responsibility and deliverables for each team member. Work with project or program manager to provide input to functional performance reviews. Create a Stakeholder register for the sub-project and assist in the preparation of a Stakeholder management plan. Support the development of a project communications management plan or develop a sub-project communications plan. Additional role-specific technical areas of responsibilities may be added as deemed necessary by the local hiring manager.
