As a Project Manager ITD II, you will drive the successful execution of moderately complex projects from initiation through closure, utilizing the standard tools and artifacts outlined in ITD’s PMO Project Playbook. In this role, you will leverage the project team model to foster collaborative environments that enhance project delivery. You will be responsible for overseeing all project phases, ensuring successful execution while managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk constraints. This position ensures technology teams, operational partners, and key stakeholders remain aligned on project scope and timelines while proactively addressing build and integration requirements, operational readiness, training needs, and opportunities for cost containment.*Long term project funded position*A caregiver in this role works remotely Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. To be considered for this position, candidates must reside in Ohio, Florida or Nevada.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Project Initiation & Team FormationDevelop the project charter and form a cross-functional team.Set up and lead regular project team meetings to maintain alignment and momentum.​Planning & Scope ManagementDefine and manage project scope, success criteria, and stakeholder requirements.Develop a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), timeline, and resource plan.Prevent scope creep by enforcing a structured change control process.Execution & Delivery OversightOversee day-to-day execution, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines.Track milestones, update schedules, and manage interdependencies across teams.Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.Monitoring & ControllingContinuously monitor project performance against the baseline for scope, schedule, and cost.Analyze variances, manage changes through formal processes, and implement corrective actions as needed.Maintain visibility into progress through reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder updates.Budget & Resource ManagementBuild and manage project budgets, forecasting costs and controlling expenses.Coordinate and optimize resource allocation across internal teams and vendors.Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify and analyze risks; maintain a Risk & Issue Register.Implement mitigation and contingency plans proactively.Stakeholder & Communication ManagementDevelop and execute a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed.Manage stakeholder expectations through regular updates, influence, and negotiation.Procurement & Vendor OversightLead procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.Monitor vendor performance and ensure alignment with service-level agreements.Project ClosureClose projects effectively and conduct lessons learned sessions and stakeholder reviews.Finalize documentation and ensure smooth hand-off or transition.Other duties as assigned.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor's degree in business or related fieldAdditional project management experience may offset the degree requirementFour years of project management experiencePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), or Certificate in Project Management from an accredited collegeFor Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of position start dateFour years of experience managing IT construction projects in a healthcare settingKnowledge of infrastructure, including server setup, structured cabling, data center setup, device and systems integration and compliance with HIPAA regulationsFour years of experience facilitating implementation of health care related technology in support of direct patient care entities, patient care teams and/or indirect patient care via supporting functions of healthcareAbility to simultaneously lead multiple technical teams through assessment, planning, and sequencing IT implementation related work in alignment with phases of project (initiation, planning, execution, monitor & control, closure)Two to three years of experience gathering requirements, planning and orchestrating the deployment of AI solutionsExperience partnering with application owners, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teamsExperience deploying enterprise systems and processesAbility to support mission critical legacy applications on enterprise infrastructure and integrate them with enterprise systemsExperience driving application provisioning to endpoints and end users using multiple technologiesExperience monitoring and documenting project progression (tasks/deliverables per phase/month/week), escalating gaps, risks, issues following standardized tools and governance processesExperience facilitating and documenting workflow analysis and requirements gatheringAbility to develop future state workflows and identify and resolve process gaps and risksExperience supporting successful implementation and transition to ongoing supportGood understanding of and relationship management with hospital operationsExperience harmonizing application deployment and operational readiness to ensure optimal implementation successPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment.Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $84,200.00Maximum Annual Salary: $128,412.50The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
