Loan Documentation Specialist

Overview:
A growing regional bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist to support their Commercial Loan Operations team. This position will be responsible for preparing and generating commercial loan closing documentation across both CRE and C&I lending transactions, partnering closely with middle office, legal, risk, and compliance teams throughout closing processes. This is a strong opportunity to join a collaborative commercial banking platform with clear long-term growth potential and exposure to a high volume of complex commercial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and generate loan closing documents for CRE and C&I transactions.
- Review loan approvals, legal terms, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Create and assemble complete loan closing packages.
- Partner with middle office and internal teams to support closings.
- Review collateral, lien documentation, and manage multiple loan timelines.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial loan documentation or loan operations experience.
- Hands-on experience preparing and creating commercial loan closing documents.
- Understanding of CRE and C&I lending processes and documentation.
- Ability to interpret legal, risk, and compliance-related approvals.
- Experience with LaserPro and/or a commercial banking or real estate paralegal background preferred.
