Medical Surgical CNAWe are seeking a Medical Surgical CNA, also referred to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Med-Surg CNA. A Med Surg CNA will assist with patient care by supporting daily activities, mobility, feeding, and vital signs while monitoring for any changes. Additionally, the Med Surg CNA, will help nurses by maintaining supplies, assisting with wound care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.ResponsibilitiesIf you have recently earned your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License and have no prior experience, we encourage you to apply. Entry-Level CNAs are welcome to apply!Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toiletingHelp with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown, you may also feed patients who need assistance and monitor intake/outputTake and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration), observe and report changes in a patient's condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RNStock and maintain supplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safeAssist in transporting patients within the hospitalQualifications1. Must be able to type.2. Must be familiar with and willing to learn medical terminology.3. Prefer prior experience in a medical setting.4. Must protect patient confidentiality.5. Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant credential.6.
