This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and the development of specialized system procedures.ResponsibilitiesFully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer's networks, laptops and desktops, and in-house serversInstall and integrate new server hardware and applicationsSupport routine network maintenanceSupport and administer third-party applicationsEnsure network security and connectivityFamiliarization with firewalls, IDS, ISP (SonicWALL) and other security devices and configurationMonitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.Set up user accounts, permissions and manage licensing in a hybrid Microsoft AD/Azure environment.Cloud experience in design and installStrong knowledge of Office 365 productsMaintain company's websiteTier 1 to 4 help desk supportExperience in SSO (single sign on) and multifactor authentication (MFA)Proficient at configuring and maintaining end user systems.Maintain user access to internal training portalAbility to work with infrastructure vendors and maintain vendor agreements and relationshipsDefine and design network policies and proceduresDevelop system requirements and design solutionsResearch and make recommendations on all aspects of the IT enterprise.Knowledge of office telephony and VoIP.RequirementsProven experience in a network administrator roleHands on experience in networking, routing and switchingExcellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of IT infrastructureExperience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desiredCloud experience (Microsoft Azure)Window servers (All versions)Microsoft products (Office 365 cloud)Ability to set up and configure server hardwareFamiliarity with backup and disaster recovery software and methodologiesGreat at organizing, prioritizing and multitaskingAble to work both independently and in teamsMaintain ISO, CMMC and CMMI certificationsBS degree in Computer Science or related field or 4 years of experience with related certificationsTS Clearance RequiredFull-Time/Part-TimeFull-Time LocationReston - HQ
