Human Resources Generalist

Bilingual Human Resources Generalist LHH has partnered with a growing organization that is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist to join their team on a 3-4 month contract. This is a fully onsite opportunity for a hands‑on HR professional who enjoys supporting employees across a variety of HR functions and thrives in a fast‑paced operational environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resourceful, professional, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while providing exceptional support to both employees and leadership. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day HR support across employee relations, onboarding, payroll coordination, compliance, and HR administration Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS information is up to date Support new hire onboarding activities and coordinate employee transitions, status changes, and separations Assist managers and employees with HR‑related questions, policies, and procedures Partner with leadership to gather information, document concerns, and support employee relations matters Coordinate payroll‑related processes and assist with employee payroll inquiries Support benefits‑related documentation and employee record maintenance Assist with recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate coordination Maintain training records and support compliance, safety, and employee development initiatives Help ensure HR processes remain compliant with company policies and employment regulations Provide bilingual English and Spanish support to employees throughout the organization Perform additional HR projects and administrative responsibilities as business needs evolve Qualifications 2+ years of Human Resources experience Bilingual in both English and Spanish is required Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred Knowledge of California employment practices and HR compliance requirements Background in manufacturing, production, agriculture, distribution, logistics, or another operational environment is highly preferred Strong employee relations and HR administration experience Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization Adaptable, team‑oriented, and comfortable supporting a wide range of HR responsibilities Compensation $28.00 - $32.00/hour 3-4 month contract assignment Opportunity to make an immediate impact within a growing organization Immediate start available Schedule Fully Onsite Monday-Friday Office located in north county San Diego Seeking candidates available to start as soon as possible If you’re a bilingual HR professional who enjoys supporting all aspects of human resources in a fast‑paced operational environment, we’d love to hear from you!
