Drywall Project Manager

Project ManagerThis position for Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of commercial drywall projects from initial estimate to closeout, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer. As a Project Manager you will also be expected to build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.Common Links Construction is a respected union commercial subcontractor specializing in steel stud framing, drywall, painting, and acoustical ceilings. We're always looking for high-end talent to join our people-focused company, where there's limitless potential for our employees to grow and succeed.What You Will DoPrepare product and labor estimates for customersManage construction process and completion of assigned projects on scheduleTrack and manage all changes that are made during the build processMaintains overall responsibility for success in meeting established safety, quality, schedule and budget targets for assigned projectCommunicate with the field foreman/team to ensure a safe and productive projectAttend all necessary job site meetingsHave a strong desire to win and hate to loseConstant desire and need to learn new tasksHave a determined and goal-orientated work ethicWhat You Bring to UsAt least 2 years of project management and/or estimating experience.Preferred experience and knowledge in the commercial construction industry.Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Business preferred, but not required.Effective verbal and written communication skillsGeneral knowledge of commercial construction.Ability to read/interpret blueprints and spec drawings.Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with individuals of varying seniority and teams both inside and outside the organizationDetail-oriented with a sense of urgencyDemonstrates a positive "can do" demeanor, takes pride in achieving results and has a self-starter mindsetAbility to use good judgment and possess strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work in high-pressure situationsWhat We OfferTotal Compensation: Base + Bonuses =$100,000+Great benefits, including health and dental insurance401(k)Generous PTO packageCompany paid holidaysFuture growth opportunities and professional training developmentMonday – Friday (8am-5pm work hours)The friendliest leaders and teammates in the industry!WE ARE HIRING THIS POSITION FOR OUR BROOKFIELD, WI LOCATION!
