About the Role

The Company is in need of an Interim Executive Director for Trauma. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the trauma department, with a strong focus on departmental initiatives such as staffing, patient experience, recertification procedures, and nursing/operational workflows. This role involves evaluating the department's structure, providing input on staff performance, and fostering departmental growth. The ideal candidate will have a background in trauma care, with a strong emphasis on staff engagement, quality outcomes, decision-making, and trauma response improvement. Applicants for the Interim Executive Director position must have a BSN, a Master's degree, and an active RN license. Trauma certification is strongly preferred. The role requires a leader who can start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance and is capable of making a significant impact in a short period. The Interim Executive Director will be expected to work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and other stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of care and operational efficiency in the trauma department.
