The practice encompasses both litigation and transactional restructuring work,providingattorneyswithexposuretoabroadrangeofdistressedsituations,enforcementactions,workouts,andbankruptcyproceedings.Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.Active Bar Admission in Washington, in good standing (or eligibility to waive into Washington); admission in Oregon and/or California is a plus4-8 years of substantive experience representing parties in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring, creditors’ rights litigation, or insolvency-related mattersExperience handling loan workouts, loan enforcement actions, receiverships, foreclosures, and related insolvency litigationBankruptcy & Restructuring Expertise: Demonstrated experience with complex corporate restructurings, including both debtor and creditor representations in Chapter 11, Chapter 15 and Chapter 9 municipal insolvency cases.Litigation Experience: Excel in drafting, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances for bankruptcy-related disputes.Additional Transactional Background: Familiarity with distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings is a plus.Soft Skills: Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and sound judgment are essential.Ability to manage multiple complex matters while providing outstanding client serviceKey ResponsibilitiesRepresent lenders, creditors, landlords, debtors, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency-related mattersHandle loan workout negotiations, restructuring transactions, and distressed asset mattersManage creditors’ rights litigation, including loan enforcement actions, receiverships, and foreclosure proceedingsDraft and negotiate workout agreements, restructuring documents, pleadings, motions, and related legal filingsAdvise clients on insolvency, restructuring, bankruptcy, and risk management strategiesRepresent clients in corporate restructurings and bankruptcy litigation matters, including Chapter 15, Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 proceedings.Provide strategic guidance to both creditors and debtors in complex insolvency cases.Assist with acquisitions of distressed assets and corporate workouts, both in and out of court.Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, and manage motion practice in high-stakes litigation.Collaborate closely with partners and clients in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.Why Join Us?This is a unique opportunity to join a premier bankruptcy and creditors’ rights litigation team that operates at the forefront of corporate restructuring law.
