You will utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client interactions effectively, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health status, utilizing a combination of clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools. \n Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals, ensuring they are grounded in evidence-based practices. \n Facilitate regular therapy sessions, offering both individual and group therapy using culturally responsive methodologies. \n Maintain detailed case notes and documentation to track patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. \n Provide referrals and collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care. \n Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, employing strong de-escalation techniques to support patients in distress. \n Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress, share best practices, and contribute to the clinic’s continuous improvement initiatives. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your role will involve working with a wide range of clients, including individuals experiencing mental health challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and more. You will be expected to provide care that respects and responds to the cultural backgrounds and unique experiences of each patient, fostering an environment where they feel safe and understood. Qualifications\n \n A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of California. \n A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience. \n A profound understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches. \n Demonstrated cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations. \n Proficient in crisis intervention and management, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure. \n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of developing rapport with patients and interdisciplinary teams. \n Familiarity with electronic health record systems and necessary computer applications. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience delivering group therapy sessions in addition to individual counseling. \n An understanding of the impact of social determinants on mental health. \n Previous work in a community health setting or similar environment is an advantage. \n Compensation and Benefits\n This rewarding position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus of $3,000.
