Commercial / Residential HVAC Installer

Location: Sacramento, CA Job Type: Full‐Time

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Commercial / Residential HVAC Installer to join our established team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial buildings, residential homes, and light industrial environments. You will work closely with a lead installer and our customers to ensure every installation meets our high standards of safety, performance, and craftsmanship.  This position is ideal for an experienced installer who takes pride in quality work, enjoys solving technical challenges, and thrives in a team‐oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install commercial and residential HVAC systems, including split systems, package units (5–20 tons), mini‐splits, and ventilation equipment

Perform full‐scope installation tasks: equipment placement, ductwork, brazing, line‐set installation, condensate routing, electrical connections, and system start‐ups

Work with 3‐phase and 460‐volt electrical systems safely and efficiently

Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members

Troubleshoot installation issues and provide solutions in the field

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Ensure compliance with company standards, local codes, and industry best practices

Assist in training and guiding junior installers as needed

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands‐on experience installing commercial and residential HVAC systems

Strong proficiency with:

Split systems

Package units (5–20 tons)

Mini‐split systems

Commercial installation experience is a plus

EPA certification (Type II or Universal preferred)

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to work throughout the Sacramento region and occasionally in the Bay Area

Strong leadership, communication, and problem‐solving skills

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks safely

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation

$25.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and skill level.

Additional earning potential through bonuses and overtime opportunities.

We do not install new construction but have a loyal customer base and offer rebates for our commercial and residential customers.
