Senior Billing Supervisor

Senior Billing Supervisor Employment Type: Full-Time, Mid-Level. Department: Financial. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the e-billing and payment cycle workflow, including payment posting, charge corrections, and reconciliations of payments to bank deposits. Prepare monthly, semi-monthly, and ad‑hoc billing reports for internal and external clients. Ensure timely invoice submission to clients based on established timelines. Create and distribute ad‑hoc operational and billing reports to management as requested. Collaborate with the Controller and Accounting Department to identify, review, and recommend changes to automate or enhance the timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency of billing processes. Support internal and external auditors as requested. Supervise e‑billing and receivables staff, evaluating skill levels and recommending training or changes as necessary. Provide feedback for staff performance appraisals, develop performance management objectives, and participate in hiring and separation decisions. Delegate assignments and projects to staff as appropriate. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work well, influence, and articulate initiatives, projects, results, and analyses to senior leadership and staff. High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), with a professional demeanor and presentation. Analytical with strong problem‑solving skills, initiative, good judgment, and excellent follow‑up skills. Ability to work efficiently, multitask, prioritize, and deliver high‑quality work accurately. Capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional, collaborative team. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). Five years of legal billing/receivables experience with in‑depth knowledge of accounting principles and billing software; advanced experience in e‑billing. Two years of supervisory experience in a similar role and ability to assume a leadership role. Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Access.
