ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operate machines assigned individually to perform production activities. Follow work standards and team leader's or supervisor's instructions. Conduct visual self-quality inspections on parts during production activities. Conduct daily equipment inspection and perform basic record keeping. Comply to safe work practices and make sure all required PPE are prepared. Improve operator's cycle time by suggesting layout modification to team leaders or supervisors. Conduct rework activities and defect tracking processes. PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB: High School diploma / GED Experience in a manufacturing environment. Welding experience - MIG welding Ability to read and follow written instructions. Excellent hand and eye coordination Able to lift objects weigh more than 50 lbs occasionally. Organizational Relationships: Accountable to the Production Team Leader or Supervisor for all phases of activities.
