Sr. Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense Full Time Hammond, IN, US HeplerBroom LLC, a large defense firm, is currently seeking an Indiana licensed Attorney of Counsel with 5+ years of relevant litigation experience for our Hammond, IN, office; hybrid work options available. This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney with defense litigation experience in the field of insurance coverage (preferred). Key Responsibilities: Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish Attend court hearings in various counties and courthouses Monitor case files to ensure deadlines are met; investigate facts and legal matters to determine causes of action Research, analyze, and interpret law sources such as statutes, rules, regulations, ordinances, court decisions, and legal opinions Assist with document review Good standing with the Indiana bar; Illinois license also preferred Experience managing own caseload, handling all aspects of litigation, and an interest in litigating in other fields of practice Strong organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
