Principal Consultant – R&D

As a Principal Consultant in R&D, you will help customers bring treatments to patients faster by transforming how they work with technology, data, and AI. You will focus on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring tangible business value. R&D encompasses Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance. You will build credibility, depth, and relationships within the practice you choose and become a thought leader in that domain.

• Project Mastery: Lead Veeva BC's largest and most complex global projects, maintaining full accountability for excellence across multiple teams.
• Strategic Growth: Own business development, architecting and winning key deals exceeding $1M.
• People Leadership: Manage and mentor high‑performing consulting teams, overseeing professional growth and delivery standards.
• Thought Leadership: Develop and champion industry‑leading initiatives to keep Veeva at the cutting edge of Life Sciences.
• Customer Success: Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite stakeholders, leveraging Veeva’s data and software to solve critical challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of Life Sciences consulting (Management Consulting preferred).
• Track Record: Proven ability to win and deliver $1M+ consulting engagements.
• Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in biopharma – ClinOps, ClinData, Regulatory, or Pharmacovigilance, and a comprehensive understanding of the Life Sciences landscape.
• Leadership: Extensive experience managing multiple project teams and senior‑level customer relationships.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Knowledge of Veeva products.
• Experience delivering SaaS or tech‑enabled consulting solutions.

Salary: Base pay range $120,000 – $250,000. The range is provided to comply with regulations; actual salary may vary based on experience, location, and qualifications. Additional compensation such as variable bonus and/or stock may be offered.
