We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Analyst Intermediate to join a Financial Services team in Columbus, Ohio on a Long-term Contract basis. This position supports in-office credit quality activities and requires strong judgment when reviewing legal and financial documentation. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in credit or loan operations, communicates clearly with business partners, and consistently delivers accurate work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough quality reviews of loan and credit documentation before final execution to confirm completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal credit standards.
• Examine legal documents, credit requests, and supporting financial materials to determine whether required information has been properly captured and documented.
• Assess credit approval records and related agreements in coordination with risk and business stakeholders to verify consistency between approved terms and final documentation.
• Investigate documentation gaps or recurring issues, identify underlying causes, and recommend practical improvements to strengthen quality and process performance.
• Communicate review outcomes, needed corrections, and documentation updates clearly to partners involved in the credit lifecycle.
• Use technology and data analysis tools to validate information integrity, question inconsistencies, and support informed decision-making.
• Maintain strong organization across competing priorities while delivering timely, accurate results during standard business hours in a fully onsite environment.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing guidance, supporting effective communication, and helping improve overall review quality.• 3-6 years of experience in credit analysis, loan operations, documentation review, quality control, or a closely related function.
• Hands-on experience reviewing legal documentation and/or participating in loan closing or credit documentation processes.
• Strong financial background with the ability to interpret credit materials, analyze supporting information, and recognize documentation discrepancies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business partners across teams.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, sound analytical thinking, and the ability to solve problems through structured root cause analysis.
• Strong proficiency with computer systems and data analysis tools used to evaluate documentation quality and information reliability.
• Proven ability to manage priorities, maintain dependable attendance, and produce accurate work in a five-day onsite schedule.
• A degree is preferred but not required; prior experience in a quality control environment or legal setting is a plus.
