Position Overview

Role Responsibilities

• Execute a diverse range of ultrasound exams including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring to explain each step of the procedure with warmth and clarity
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to assure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in sonographic techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
